The Garstang Fundraising Group is a small but very energetic team of volunteers formed early this year which operates under the wing of the Branch. The group is very much up and running and has already successfully run a charity stall in Garstang and raised £315 in quiz sheet sales. On Saturday 29^th October a stall selling Christmas cards at the annual Christmas Card Fair in the United Reformed Church Garstang raised £270 making the total collected for the year nearly £1000. The group has since held an awareness day at Barton Grange Garden Centre on the 10^th of November and will be represented at the Victorian Market in Garstang which operates on two evenings, Monday and Tuesday 12^th and 13^th December. This is a splendid annual event where there are many stalls and lots of seasonal music and entertainment. We will be running an ‘Everyone’s a Winner’ tombola stall on both evenings and are looking forward to another successful fundraising event.
